A few of things to take away from Brandon Sanderson (popular writer of fantasy and science-fiction) breaking Kickstarter in the past week or so.
- Practice and dedication put you one step ahead of everybody else.
- It’s not enough to build an audience, you also have to keep it engaged over time, with content that is authentic and valuable to them.
- Even when you have become incredibly popular, there is still space to innovate in whatever you do.

Oh yeah, I was surprised to see Sanderson take to Kickstarter, but based on what I’ve read off Reddit, his marketing game is on point too, which is something I never knew about him. Well, good on him. Inspiring too.
